Insulation Situation!

To make sure you unit is not working harder than it needs to, you want to make sure your residence or building is well insulated. If air that is being pushed from a unit is escaping during circulation, your system will draw more power to work harder, and this adds to your electric bill!!

A few things you can do:

• Check weather stripping around doors and windows for wear!
  
• Watch for gaps! Older buildings may have shifted over time, and gaps may be present in doors or framework.
